Mounting Options
Inside Mount
Installs within the window frame for a clean, built-in appearance. Before selecting: measure inside width at top/middle/bottom and inside height at left/center/right, confirm sufficient mounting depth, and check for handles, locks or obstructions.
Small light gaps may remain along the sides because the fabric is narrower than the full headrail assembly.
Outside Mount
Installs above the window opening or on surrounding trim/wall — preferable when inside depth is limited, extra privacy/coverage is desired, the frame is uneven, or hardware obstructs an inside mount. Adding overlap beyond the opening helps reduce visible side light.
